Overtake X – A Fast, Simple Racing Game That Gets in Your Head

Overtake X is one of those games that looks simple but ends up totally messing with your reflexes. You’re dropped onto a packed highway, and your only job is to keep weaving through cars. The camera’s locked from above, your car keeps moving forward, and every second you survive adds to your score. That’s it. But it gets fast really fast and staying alive starts to feel like a mini panic attack (in a fun way).

How to Play

The controls in Overtake X couldn’t be easier. You just tap left or right to switch lanes. Your car drives automatically, and there’s no brake just movement. The trick is to get as close to other cars as possible without hitting them. Near misses give you bonus points, and you’ll want those if you care about topping the leaderboard. Crash once, and the run ends.

Why It’s So Addictive

It’s one of those just one more run games. Each round only lasts a few seconds at first, but once you get into the flow, you’ll keep chasing that higher score. The near misses feel great when you pull them off, and the speed ramps up so gradually you don’t notice how intense it’s getting until your palms are sweaty. There are no upgrades, no grinding just pure focus and reflexes.

• Don’t swipe too hard. Short, sharp taps give you more control.
• Stay in the middle lanes early on so you can react to both sides.
